Teen girls ages 11–17. While backpacking experience is not required to attend, we highly recommend some athletic conditioning before this trip. This trip will be a little more physically taxing than our other trips.

This is the perfect event for beginners, attendees must know how to ride a bike but do not need mountain biking experience.

Spring Girl's Climb Night
Join Girl & Her Backpack for a night of climbing, raffles, and fun!
Girls ages 11-17 will get to boulder for $12 (climbing shoes included) during this event.
You can stop by the Girl & Her Backpack booth to enter to win prizes from outdoor and local brands.
Register quickly as we only have 25 spots available for the girls! There are no limits on adult registration but adults will have to pay for a full day pass if climbing. Adults are encouraged to stay and hang out with their teen. Adults will not have to pay for a day pass if not climbing.

International Women's Day Run & Walk
Join Girl & Her Backpack at Sugar House Park’s Big Field Pavillion for a run/walk for International Women’s Day! This event is hosted by Women of the Wasatch and Girls on the Run. Girl & Her Backpack will have their own group at the event ran by Girl & Her Backpack hike and camp lead, Andrea Stofko! Look for the Girl & Her Backpack sign to join our walk :) Parents are more than welcome to join our walk too, but if you need to drop off and pick up your child just let Andrea know! Sign up in the form below.
Note: To get to Big Field Pavillion you will want to enter the Sugar House Park loop on 2100 and take your first left down the long driveway/street right before the large duck pond.

For girls ages 12-17, Rise is a 3-day, 2-night backpacking trip that gives girls the opportunity to learn how to backpack, build friendships, and play.
Car Camping: Redman Campground
For girls ages 11-14, Car camping is a 2-day, 1-night trip to Redman Campground that gives girls the opportunity to learn how to camp, build friendships, and play.

There are only 15 spots available to keep the experience focused on each girls’ growth and relationship building. Drop off and pick up will be outside of the canyon due to the fee in the Einstein's Bagels parking lot. You will receive an email approximately three days before the event from ashley@girlandherbackpack.com with waiver info.

Girls Climb Night
Girl & Her Backpack, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, is partnering with Momentum Climbing Gym - Lehi to throw a Girl's Climb Night! Girls ages 12-17 will get to climb for $5 (climbing shoes included) during this event.
You can stop by the Girl & Her Backpack booth to grab a goodie bag and enter to win prizes from outdoor and local brands or grab an ornament off of the Girl & Her Backpack Giving Tree to help a girl get outside next year.
Register quickly as we only have 35 spots available for the girls! There are no limits on adult registration but adults will have to pay for a full day pass if climbing. (If not climbing, you can sit and hangout!)
